The name 'Phansad' is derived from the 'Phansada' tree (A local name for Garcinia talboti) which is present in abundance here. The camp charges : Rs. 2750/- per person. Includes experts charges, entry tickets, food, stay and transport (Mumbai to Mumbai).
The journey will start from Mumbai at 6.30am. on 21st November and Meeting point is Swaminarayan temple, outside Dadar railway station, East. Should be back by 8 pm on 22nd November, 2015.

Nature camp to Bhimashankar wildlife sanctuary
Although the place is of religious importance is frequented by nature lovers due to its natural beauty and biodiversity. This area is listed in Important Bird Area (IBA) by Bird Life International. Bhimashankar is a home to Maharashtra's State Animal- The Indian Giant Squirrel. Explore the biodiversity of this sanctuary with Oikoessence.
