Manipur Camp Report November, 2019

Located in North-East of part of India, Manipur has a varied range of geographical diversity. A place where world’s only floating National Park is still surviving and is a last refuge for ‘Dancing Deer – Sanghai’. We, the OikoEssence campers were lucky to spot two of them during our visit. We had a nature camp in southern and eastern Manipur for eight days and could see good amount of flora and fauna. As it is done for all camps, we have prepared a list of our sightings using field guides and mobile apps. We are glad to share the same with you all.  We hope that this blog will be useful for conservationists and all nature lovers (who respect the local lifestyle and the biodiversity) who are planning to visit this place.
