Our second outing turned out to be a 'Ladies Special'! Six of us tried to explore Morachi Chincholi and Lonar.
We thoroughly enjoyed a village homestay in Morachi Chincholi that provided us good wholesome homemade food and much relaxing environment.
We were really happy to meet a group of young locals who have started a movement - 'Mee Lonarkar' to save their own surroundings that include world heritage site - 'The Lonar Crater'.
We at Lonar |
The efforts of Our Guide at Lonar Mr. Ramesh Rathod to explain the lake and biodiversity were really commendable. He gave us scientific knowledge of the lake as well as its mythological connections.
